Biden 'should be impeached' if White House fails to save Americans trapped in Afghanistan

Senior Republican Lindsey Graham said President Joe Biden should be impeached if the US does not evacuate every American and Afghan ally currently trapped in Afghanistan.

Senator Graham said should President Biden fail to evacuate those trapped Americans, he should be removed from office.

The collapse of the Afghan in just 11 days prompted thousands of people to flock to Hamid Karzai International Airport in a desperate bid to flee the country.

President Biden said American forces would leave Afghanistan by the end of August, but now said they won't leave until all US citizens are rescued.

Senator Graham is the first senior Republican to warn President Biden could be impeached over the Afghanistan debacle, however many of his GOP colleagues have been scathing of the White House's efforts to rescue Americans and their Afghan allies.
