Rent out extra space with Storj Storagenode on Synology NAS

You've built or bought your NAS and now have extra 2TB or even 12TB of storage? No idea if and when you'll use it? Then maybe this project is for you. Rent-out your extra storage n existing hardware to get some money back (in long run).

I'll show you how I did it on my spare/recording video and this is 2nd of 3 Storj nodes I run.
Installing and running decentralised Storj Storage node on Synology or any other Linux, MacOS or Windows machine is very easy, but don't go on shopping spree. This will be slow passive income in cryptocurrency.

This process was recorded on DS415+ with btrfs (and it's not recommended but works) and on DSM 7.0. Same steps work for DSM 6.2
