UK confirms three British nationals killed in Kabul attack

United Kingdom officials have confirmed two British nationals and a child are among the dead from the Kabul attack.

The three victims were from different families and all were trying to secure an evacuation flight.

The UK’s evacuation operation is ending in hours but Prime Minister Boris Johnson has conceded there will be some who do not get on the flights.

Around 100 people have already flown back to Britain while 1,000 remain on the ground.
