When should you refinance a VA loan to a Conventional loan?

Pay close attention to the order of operations here...
1. Make sure to refinance while you are still living there and its your primary residence. This will get you the best possible rate on the new loan. DO NOT move first, then try to refi, rates will be way higher.
2. Do not write offers on a new property until your refinance is complete AT LEAST. Leaving a little space in there is good too as it can look bad if you just refinanced a primary and are now buying a new primary.
