Woodturning - The Classy Conifer Log

Welcome to Ian Mac Woodturning, in today's turning video you can see me turn a piece of Conifer I got from a local landscaping company. You may have previously seen me turn the root earlier in the year.

Don't worry, the pieces I cut off the wood will be used in future projects as nothing goes to waste here if I can help it! Unless Resin is involved and then that usually goes pretty wrong, resulting in it being binned sometimes haha.

In these more natural woodturning pieces I am trying to experiment a little with turning techniques and ideas to make the outcomes a little more unique so if you have any ideas I am happy to hear them!
