Greece completes defensive wall on border with Turkey to stop asylum seekers • FRANCE 24 English

With thousands of #Afgan refugees now expected to begin to try to make their way to #Europe overland as they flee Taliban rule, #Greece has completed a 40-km long fence along its border with #Turkey in a bid to keep them out. The new physcal barrier, many years in the making, is set to be reinforced with new #surveilalnces drones and cameras - overseen by some 250 additional border guards.
