Memorial of Saint Pius of Pietrelcina, Priest

Today we remember a saint lovingly known around the world as Padre Pio. A member of the Capuchin Order, he was ordained as a priest in 1910. Famously depicted for suffering stigmata on his hands, feet and side. He was canonized in 2002 by St. Pope John Paul II.
