You can rocket jump with Scorch Cannons

Essentially, Scorch Cannons work much like Special GLs, where you hold down the trigger and release it when you want it to go kaboom. Scorch Cannon projectiles will stick to surfaces, and stay there until the trigger is released. Then it goes kaboom.
So, you stick one underneath you, hop over it, and release at the optimal trajectory. Get it right and you go flying, with an almost negligible health penalty.
I just figured this out, so I don't know how it works for Hunters and Warlocks, or if it's more difficult. I imagine STOMP-EE5 will give Hunters a greater degree of success, perhaps even more so than Titans. Only further testing will tell.
