The combination of the Shenzhou-13 manned spaceship and a Long March-2F carrier rocket has been transferred to a launching area on Thursday, according to China Manned Space Agency.

The facilities are in good condition. Various pre-launch function checks and joint tests will be carried out as planned.

The Shenzhou-13 will carry three Chinese astronauts to the Tiangong space station and stay there for six months before returning.

Plans to decommission the International Space Station in the coming years means China's facility will become the only one in Earth's orbit.
