COVID-19 and Fragile States: Promoting a Resilient Recovery for the Most Vulnerable Communities

The panel will engage in a frank and dynamic discussion to take stock of the socio-economic and development impact of COVID-19 in fragile and conflict-affected states (FCS), assess efforts by international partners to support them, and identify opportunities to accelerate progress toward resilient recovery in the most fragile settings to mitigate the risk of divergence in the pandemic recovery.
