How To Do A WIDE SQUAT SPINE ROTATION | Exercise Demonstration Video and Guide
Published at : October 05, 2021
The Wide Squat Spine Rotation is an excellent mobility exercise to help open up the hips and back. To get started:
1. With a wider than hip width stance, squat down until your thighs are close to parallel to the floor, then place your hands just above your knees. This is the starting position.
2. Gently push your hands out against your knees as you slowly rotate your upper torso to one side and look up towards the sky. This soft push will help create an even deeper stretch.
3. Hold the stretch for 3-4 seconds, then staying in the wide squat position, slowly rotate to the other side.
4. Continue alternating sides and repeat.
