The Swedish driver claimed his second win in a row at Spa-Francorchamps, Belgium
Sweden’s Johan Kristoffersson adds eight points to his standings total following his win at Spa-Francorchamps, while his team-mates Kevin and Timmy Hansen cross the line in second and fourth respectively. Here’s all you need to know:
Sweden’s three-time world champion Johan Kristoffersson has won the Benelux World RX of Spa-Francorchamps, crossing the line in 3:10.857.
Kristoffersson topped the timesheet in Q2, with team-mate behind in second in Q2, and the positions of both Swedish drivers – and Kevin Hansen’s – in the other three qualifying rounds enough to secure all three riders places in the semi-finals.
Kevin Hansen won the first semi-final, with brother Timmy coming third; while in the second semi-final, Kristoffersson romped home first – results which ensured all three drivers secured places in the final.
Spain’s Laia Sanz, 14-time FIM Women’s Trial World Championship winner, made her electric rallycross debut in Round 4 of the RX2E class at Spa-Francorchamps, and came in fifth in the second semi-final, which meant she missed out on a place in the final at this event.
