Composed by Irving Kahal and Harry Richman and first recorded in 1930. I particularly like Annette Hanshaw’s and Ruth Etting’s version, quite different takes on the tune. I’m enjoying the challenge, if not always the results, of working melody notes into the tune while trying to deliver the lyrics. This is the best take so far!
