
Tornado passes over Interstate 10 in Southeast Texas Wednesday morning

Watch three different views of a tornado on the ground as it crosses Interstate 10 in Orange, Texas, Wednesday morning as a line of storms passed through the area spawning several tornadoes.
Thousands are without power and a number of homes were damaged Tuesday as tornadoes touched down in Southeast Texas.

The National Weather Service issued tornado watches for the entire area until 4 p.m. 12News StormTracker Jeff Gerber believes the worst of the activity will move out before 1 p.m.
A tornado watch is in effect for southwest Louisiana, along with Jasper, Newton, Jefferson, Orange, Hardin, Tyler, Chambers and Liberty counties. Severe thunderstorm watches and warnings have also been in place for the area too.
This severe weather can be blamed on a squall line of thunderstorms forecast for Tuesday. The 12News StormTrackers are forecasting an extended period of cool, dry weather to follow.
