Tangle Break has made it possible for me to combine my love for art and my love for teaching.
I was an elementary school teacher for 30 years. When my husband and I retired two years ago we moved to Florida and my 93 year old mother moved in with us. Taking care of my mom has been a journey in itself. She has mobility issues, tremors, and memory loss. I have always loved art and decided to use art as an outlet while caring for her. I took several Zentangle® classes and knew that I had found a fun and relaxing outlet. I became a CZT (Certified Zentangle® Teacher) and love sharing this art form. I was certified by the founders of Zentangle® (Rick Roberts and Maria Thomas). In my videos I will show you step-by-step how to complete Zentangle® inspired art. A Tangle Tuesday video will be posted every other Tuesday. On Tangle Tuesday, we’ll draw patterns that are fun and easy using specific tangles that I will teach you. A Fragment Friday video will be posted every other Friday. On Fragment Friday, we’ll draw a picture using fragments and a grid. We’ll draw a basic pattern and then watch a bigger meta-pattern appear. We'll have fun and relax using this fun and easy art form.
