Presiding officer of Modimolle-Mookgophong council to seek advise on election of office-bearers

The Presiding officer of Modimolle-Mookgophong council in Limpopo, Shepherd Mhlanga says he will seek the advice of the co-operative governance MEC on a way forward in the election of office-bearers. This comes after the collapse of the third council meeting which was due to elect the speaker, mayor and the chief whip. The candidates for both the ANC and the DA have received the same number of votes for two days in a row.
