Poor little Chevy 10 bolt, you have no idea what life has in store for you. The first part of your life you just cruised to the grocery store, maybe to church, occasionally taking the grand kids for ice cream... the next chapter of your life with THE Old Man's Garage is going to be considerably more fun, and athletic.

So a few weeks ago you all likely saw us put a brand new rear end gear in Bill's 1979 Chevy Malibu Classic. This low mileage survivor car was now sporting a fresh 350 small block Chevy under the hood, a 700R4 transmission and factory highway gears and open differential just wouldn't cut it. Unfortunately after upgrading those gears to a new "budget friendly" 3.73 gear set... bad things happened when the boys repeatedly mashed the Go Baby Go button shoving a few 150 shot doses of nitrous though it. Back to our shop it went to get a more stout set of Richmond 4.11 gears, and all new hardware.

However as you'll quickly see in this video even a simple "take one out, put one in" can go sideways as parts challenges mount and we deal with fitment challenge after fitment challenge. In the end we keep at it until we win and this ride is ready for some fun... AFTER a somewhat gentle break in cycle we can hope! The former SRC / Street Racing Channel / SRC Garage machine is likely going to see some Street Racing of it's own, or at least some bracket racing. Knowing these boys as we do... our money is on BOTH.

We always want to make sure to thank every single one of our viewers, followers, supporters, and subscribers that have made this channel so successful over the past two years. Without all of you cheering us on and encouraging us to keep sharing what we do we would just be talking to ourselves in another dark corner of the internet! So huge huge HUGE thank you to each and every one of you! Old Man's Garage Malibu needs rear gears... AGAIN!? Massive headaches ensue!
