US and allied intelligence agencies are on the lookout for any indications about Putin ordering nuclear strikes in Ukraine. Air, space and cyberspace intelligence assets are monitoring Russian units that might be given the nuclear order. The US is also watching the Russian enclave of Kaliningrad, which hosts dual-use weapon systems and hypersonic missiles. Multiple RC-135 Rivet Joint planes have been reportedly circling Kaliningrad to gather data on a potential nuclear buildup.
