“NMMC has disregarded even Lok Aayukt orders”, says Rohitt Malhotra in illegal Vashi hall case

Speaking exclusively to The Metro, social activist Rohitt Malhotra informed that despite sealing orders of Siddivinayak hall at Vashi from the Lok Aayukt, NMMC had disregarded even the court’s order and failed to seal the illegal structure.

Rohitt Malhotra alleged that NMMC has on writing said that the hall has been sealed but this was far from the truth as access to the hall was still open.

”NMMC officials are violating rules and this time even disregarding the court’s order”, he said.

He informed that despite reporting the illegality of the structure to the local ward officer, no action was taken. “Such officials family to do their duty should be suspended,” he said.
